Normally I resist new world versions of classic Italian wines but this one came to me by a recommendation. And boy was it correct. I loved this wine. This was no thin and flat Sangiovese. It had all the character of a big Tuscan wine. Oaky, Tar, big tannins. Great job Altamura.
